Day 5 without Facebook
The task is complete! I stayed away from Facebook for 5 days. Never doubted myself for a minute, knew i could do it. My life has been completely normal, no changes no fluctuations, nothing. My friends still don't like me, the way it was before i started this task. I dint loose any friends, so that is an upside. I believe that i will not be using Facebook as much anymore. With this break i had from it, it shows me that it is just a tool to waste time. My addiction to Facebook was never a serous problem, i never had to check it several times a day, thank god. However, there are kids who are like that and need Facebook to function. I laugh at them. Facebook is useless and a waste of time. That being said i will be changing my profile pic in the next upcoming days
day 4 without "the book"
Like i have been saying this whole time, life without Facebook is way to easy, it makes life less complicated. I find myself not even typing in Facebook on a web browser anymore, i don't waste my precious time on this earth anymore staring at a screen. Without Facebook, i feel the children wouldn't get attached to the idea of your popularity level depending on how many friends you have on Facebook or who likes your comments. Children today depend to much on the technology and not on the philosophy. Kids today have to hit the books instead of the pokes.
Day 3 without facebook
Day 3 went the same as the previous days. I was able to not get forced into using Facebook, and made it another successful day without going on. In no way has my life changed for the better or even the worse. I continue to socialize with my friends the normal way i have been for my whole life. With amazing weather on the horizon this task of not using Facebook will be a walk in the park.

When I google myself.....
When i google myself nothing really comes up that has anything to do with me. I basically don't exist on the internet, with me not having a Facebook or twitter, i guess i don't exist. The top result is my blog which you have the pleasure of reading now. I guess i take this in a good way and a bad way. The good outcome is that there is nothing bad out there for people to see, i'm not hiding anything, no criminal record (yet), and no embarrassing photos. The bad thing is that i don't really have a digital citizenship. I have not left my mark on the internet, just because i don't have anything bad up there, doesn't mean i shouldn't have positive things to show on my name. For the future i hope to have great things be attached to my name.

Day 2 without facebook
Day two went according to plan, and was very similar to the first day. I felt no temptation to check Facebook. I communicated with my friends like i always do the same way, my day went as normal as any other day. So far, this living without Facebook project has not changed my daily routine, nothing feels out of the ordinary, i am going along with my day as any other day.
Day 1 without facebook
the day went by smoothly with no Facebook not affecting my day. I talked to my friends like i do normally, and my plans did not change. My day was as normal as all the other days. I feel this project will continue to be easy.

The living facebook
Over the next week i am not allowed to use Facebook, however in its place we must actually experience Facebook first hand and live it out in real life. Meaning, we must post notifications on real walls, we must talk to REAL people and ask them to be friends, we must say whatever is on our minds and tell people what we really think and not hide behind a computer screen. We must deal with problems first hand now. This project will be particularly easy for me due to the fact i do not have social media and do not find Facebook useful. With that being the case, my next week will be like any other week for me. With the people that do use Facebook, i think this will be a wake up call to people who think they can say whatever they want over the internet and not have repercussions. People will now have to talk to people face to face and actually have to do human contact. Our society todays relays to much on technology and not enough person to person contact, people are not the same as they are in person when talking on the internet. Society seems to put up a wall and more and more people are turning out to be frauds.

This video is very interesting and seems like it could be the new wave of learning that is evolving. Kids today seem to be fed up with the old style of learning. They are loaded with useless homework, and textbooks that are outdated. Giving kids their own portfolio and chance at learning new concepts seems like a great idea. These kids explain why learning how to write a novel or produce an album is much more useful to them than learning trigonometry. One major thing i here'd in this video is when the child explains when he comes across a subject he has no previous knowledge off, instead of his old habits of skipping over it, he feels the need to explore the area and learn about it. This new curriculum could do fireworks for students to achieve more and grasp in more useful information
